Introducing the 2021 South Korean Digital Nomad Visa: What You Need to Know

As the world transforms into a ‘workation’ culture, remote working and extended vacations are becoming more and more commonplace. Recognising the necessity for a new visa that allows tourists to stay in South Korea for an extended period while still maintaining employment in their home countries, the South Korean Justice Ministry has recently announced the launch of the new Digital Nomad Visa. Starting on January 1, 2024, the new initiative is designed to make remote work and travel in South Korea much easier.

The new Digital Nomad Visa is intended to provide foreigners with the ability to stay in South Korea for up to two years. What Does the South Korean Digital Nomad Visa Allow?
